The PEUGEOT 508 is also available with a smart electric tailgate with hands-free function, which enables motorists to open and close the boot with a simple movement of the foot under the rear bumper.

Using the Adaptive Cruise Control system with the Stop & Go function combined with Lane Positioning Assist, your car's speed automatically adapts to that of the car ahead and keeps the PEUGEOT 508 in the position chosen by the driver as well as maintains your trajectory on the road with minimal driver input.

FULL PARK ASSIST

To park with ease, FULL PARK ASSIST technology offers fully automatic manoeuvring assistance for parallel or bay parking. The driver activates the function on the gear stick and, without the driver having to touch the steering wheel or pedals, the system detects sufficient space and accelerates and brakes as needed to park the car.

REGENERATIVE BRAKING

The Brake function of the PEUGEOT 508 PLUG-IN HYBRID slows the vehicle down without using the brake pedal.

Working as an engine brake, It also charges the battery.

The driver can select this function from the gear lever, in any of the driving modes.

LITHIUM-ION BATTERY

The battery's 100% electric range is up to 55 km WLTP* and its capacity is 11.5 kWh.

The high-voltage battery is installed under the rear seats, without affecting the car's spaciousness or boot volume. The e-Save function lets the driver set an electric energy reserve**, to be used when desired during the trip.

DRIVING RANGE & CHARGING TIME

The lithium-ion battery driving range of the PEUGEOT 508 PLUG-IN HYBRID allows you to travel up to 55 km in Electric mode, according to the WLTPThe electric range achieved in real world conditions will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to: the accessories fitted (pre and post registration); the starting charge of the battery; variations in weather, driving styles and vehicle load. Charging the battery regularly to one hundred percent is recommended to experience the benefits of the electric driving capabilities. Charging the plug-in hybrid vehicles overnight via a mode two charging cable is a seamless and hassle-free approach. For the PEUGEOT 508 Plug-in Hybrid’s 11.8kWh battery capacity, charging from zero percent to one hundred percent can take approximately five hours via a 2.3kW mode two cable.

However, charging times are dynamic depending upon a variety of variables, including the starting battery charge, charging equipment and ambient temperature.
