UNDER THE BONNET

Under the bonnet of all Expert vans is the proven and powerful Peugeot 2.0L HDi turbo diesel engine. With a peak output of 110Kw there's plenty of power on tap for high speed cruising and safe overtaking.

POWER

Just as important in a van is pulling power, and with 370Nm available at just 2000rpm there's a seamless stream of torque available for strong acceleration whatever the load. High performance doesn't come at a cost in fuel consumption either - automatic models use as little as 6.3L/100km* on the ADR81 Combined Cycle test.

TRANSMISSION

For those who prefer to swap their own gears there's a light and smooth 6-speed manual gearbox. All other models are fitted with an 8-speed automatic transmission that features a traditional torque-converter between engine and geartrain that provides for smooth changes and outstanding throttle response, especially right off idle - just where it's needed in stop/start city traffic. This transmission is a "sealed for life" unit, meaning none of the extra servicing costs typical of common dual-clutch automated manual transmissions.

OUT THE BACK

Expert Van comes in both short (5.3 m³) and long (6.1 m³) body versions. There's also a handy load-thru flap on PRO & PREMIUM models that not only provides an extra half a cube of storage space, it also extends internal load length to over 4M on Long versions, perfect for keeping expensive items like ladders inside the cabin away from prying eyes.

EASY PARKING & LOADING

You shouldn't have many problems getting into most underground car parks or the nearest takeaway drive-thru with Experts 1.94M roof height either. All models come with dual sliding side doors and 180° opening swing doors at the back.

SPACE

The front wheel drive powertrain brings significant packaging advantages - with no tail shaft or differential in the way the rear floor is lower - that means more standing room without compromising on overall storage space. In fact, short models are just 5M in length, meaning Expert should fit comfortably into the average carpark - that's handy for Couriers, Tradies and SME's alike.

Expert Van is available with plenty of safety technology, including Autonomous Emergency Braking, Stability Control, and Speed Sign Recognition. A wide-view rear camera and sensors make short work of reversing, often a problem in a fully laden van.

Driver and passenger airbags are standard across the range, as is a steel bulkhead (with a glazed security mesh window) keeping you and your cargo separate. You also get the added security of a chassis built on Peugeot's EMP-2 SUV platform, providing the basis for safe and secure handling, steering and braking.
